Tania Chew Podiatrist BSc (Hons)

I am passionate about what I do, and as the sole health practitioner at “Simple Foot Solutions” my aim is to ensure the well being of my patients.
Podiatrists are health care professionals who have been trained to evaluate, diagnose and treat common problems found in the feet and lower limb. Podiatrists can also help prevent, alleviate the day-to-day foot problems such as corn removal, calluses and verrucae, athletes foot, heel pain, ingrown toe nails.

In addition to offering a chiropody service, as a Podiatrist, I can also offer a treatment known as LCN Wilde Pedique nail correction. This treatment was developed specifically for corrective and restorative toe nail treatments and may in some cases assist in treating fungal nail infections.

In 2010, I completed training with ‘The Marigold Trust’ enabling me to use Marigold Therapy in conjunction with Podiatry related foot problems such as verrucae and corns. Marigold Therapy is a type of homeopathy treatment. For further information please click Marigold Therapy

I am also a Holistic Therapist, offering Reflexology which is a form of acupressure massage and manipulation of the feet which works on the principle that the foot has an association to an organ, gland and muscle within the body, providing detoxification and restoring whole body balance.

FURTHER INFORMATION
As a member of the Health & Care Professions Council, Podiatrists are professionally required to undertake continuing professional development (CPD). CPD is compulsory and podiatrists need to demonstrate that they are keeping up-to-date with training and research within areas of their profession; thus ensuring quality care and best practice.
